Travel Dramas

I’m back in the land of high speed internet. Much, much, much happiness!!!!

Fun fact: did you know that the Boise Airport is the only airport that I’ve found to have free wi-fi? Probably cause its so small…

The return trip from Houston was a tad interesting…too interesting if you ask me. First, my flight out of Houston was delayed 3 hours due to a rain storm – this 3 hours includes an hour on the tarmac waiting…

Since the flight out of Houston was late, I missed my connection in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis – Saint Paul). This meant spending the night curled up on a chair waiting on daylight.

The Minneapolis – Saint Paul airport was pretty cool. It even had a shopping mall inside the airport… unfortunately, all the stores were closed by the time I got there…

Don’t worry, I didn’t tap my foot or wave my hand while visiting the men’s room…

After a long, long evening, I finally returned to Boise where I promptly crashed for many an hour. Granted the sleep was partly due to being sick… (I got stuck next to a guy who was coughing, sneezing and blowing the whole way to Houston).

Oh – hmm… yeah, the trip was good. Well…all the but return part. Undecided

hmmm, I have been in a similar airport or two in England. Lots of fun. Tho’ the Glasgow one was at strange hours. If I remember right they had a few stores open which were very entertaining.

Get some Elderberry and the cold will be gone in no time flat. If you use Umcka as well you will feel lots better.

  • Gregg County airport has free wi-fi too.

Makes me wonder why the small airports can afford it but the big ones can’t… LOL

And I agree the MSP airport is pretty neat. Tons and tons of little shops. Some of them carry the same things, but its funny how the prices can drastically vary between the different stores.

Grand Rapids Michigan has free wifi. I think small airports are free because they wouldn’t make any money doing it whereas the big airports can charge it because there are enough business people who will pay for it. Personally, I just use an air card when I’m in a big airport. The next time I travel, I’ll probably tether my laptop to my phone and use my phone.

    To Brass…

You’re probably right about the small and large airports.

BTW – what’s an “air card”? Is it a prepaid wifi card?
